Itinerary Includes

DAY 1 - Platypus Paradise Tour
  • Our local tour guide takes you to Finch Hatton Gorge to swim in crystal clear waters with a stunning waterfall in the background, and then we stop off for a real Aussie treat for lunch. And finally up to Eungella National Park, a sub-tropical rainforest, to try your luck at spotting a platypus in the wild. 
DAY 2 - Beach Sunrise with the Wallabies Tour 
  • Rise early and jump on the bus as we take you to the beach for sunrise to meet our furry wallaby and kangaroo friends at Cape Hillsborough National Park on your guided tour, and top off the morning with a light picnic breakfast and some cool hikes.
  • 90-minute Wakeboarding Class at WakeHouse Australia, located right out the front of the Mackay Adventure Lodge.
  • Transfer back to Mackay Greyhound Bus Station for your departure.

Cancellations made less than 24hrs before departure will result in complete forfeiture of full price. We recommend you take out travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss of personal goods and the inability to travel due to weather. Customers should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control.
